绩效管理

目的

The annual performance review process sets the foundation aligning the individual’s efforts with the 大学的目标 for the coming year 和 is reliant on the level of engagement of both the supervisor 和 employee.

  • By linking individual employee work efforts with the 机构的使命 和目标, employee underst和s how their job contributes to the overall success of department 和 the University.
  • By focusing attention on setting clear performance expectations it helps the employee know what needs to be done to be successful on the job.
  • 通过定期的签到讨论, 包括状态更新, 训练, 和反馈, 它促进了灵活性, allowing the supervisor 和 the employee to identify problems early 和 change the course of a project or work assignment.

This process is an opportunity for employees to partner with their supervisors to establish goals 和 manage performance through frequent 和 ongoing review 和反馈.  The communication process includes clarifying expectations, 设定目标, 识别目标, 提供反馈, 回顾结果.

When done well, performance review process results in both parties having a(n):

Employees are strongly encouraged to prepare 和 submit a self-assessment for the prior year in advance of their formal performance review meeting with their supervisor.  The intent of the self-assessment form is for employees to provide their supervisor with a reflective assessment of their performance over the past year that highlights accomplishments 和 strengths; recognizes areas of growth 和 acknowledges 挑战; 和, 如果适用的话, 确定下一年的目标.  This will allow supervisors to be better prepared for the in-person meetings 和 better able to integrate an employee’s achievements, 挑战, 并将目标纳入最终的绩效评估.

另外, 从今年开始, employees with a regular hybrid or remote modality are required to review the 远程工作和远程办公政策 和, 提交给他们的主管批准, 远程替代工作安排协议, 远程办公和/或弹性工作时间申请表.

The role of the supervisor is to set expectations, 收集数据, 和 provide ongoing feedback to their employees to assist them in utilizing their skills, expertise 和 ideas in a way that produces results.

Supervisors are required to meet with 和 prepare a written performance review for all regular full- 和 part-time employees hired before January 1, 2023.

一个专门的 Performancereview@chinaqinyu.com  email has been created where supervisors will submit the completed forms to Human 资源, preferably for every employee in their unit at the same time.

All self-assessments 和 performance reviews must be submitted no later than 星期五, 7月28日, 2023.
